How much does your tank cost to run???

Welll here are some numbers I calculated from my tank today.

Thanks alot brandon, that is very useful information. Ive never seen anyone take the time to figure that stuff out, yet at some point in time everyone wanders what there tank costs to run. this can give people somewhat of an idea. although everyones equipment will be alittle different, it definatly puts it in perspective.

2X Koralia 4 powerheads...19w@24hrs...$1.21 per month
Ozone generator...15w@24hrs...$.96 per month
Total per month...$68.09

This does not include the other 700g of FW tanks in the room/additional lighting/pumps/heaters, or the A/c unit, or the 3,000w in wall heater for the winter. Overall the fishroom runs me just under $200 per month! LOL
My over all power bill is usually in the 4,000-4,600 KWH per month@ $.089

And ALL totally worth it. I love my tank. I love to look at it, I love to watch all the stuff blowing around (not the dead fish bodies of course, but the long tenticle things....), the beautiful fish swimming (got a stable crowd right now...). All worth it....
