i use probably 300 gallons a month and the 1200 gallons of waste water goes into a 275 gallon tote for my brother in law to do his weekly cichlid tank water changes and my pond water change

So, 300 gallons plus the old total of 2056

So far, only 15 members have been involved in tallying up Reef2Reef's monthly water usage, bring us to a total of 2356.

That's an average of 157 gallons/member/month, so far. We have over 18,000 members. Put the word out, get everyone involved!!

Please remember the format. Add your total water usage (monthly) to the grand total, posting the new grand total, so we can keep a running tally. DO NOT count water that goes down the sink, while making RO/DI water. Only add water that actually goes into your tanks, Top Off and Water Changes.

Our current grand total is 2356/month.

5 Gallon W/C per week. About 15 gallons of Top off Per month. So 20 Gallons of W/C Per Month and 15 gallons of T/O per month = 35 Gallons per Month. My Tank is only 29 gallons LOL

I add about 1.5g of ATO per day so 45g a month and then about 20g worth of water change so 65 a month for me total.

2581 + 65 = 2646

Added to our old total of 2753 gives us a new total of 2808

I have a total water volume of roughly 75 gal. 1 gal a day in evaperation + 20 gal water change per week. So my total water usage is 30 + 80=110
New grand total :2988

58 Gallon system with a 10 gallon sump. 20 gallons a month for water changes and 3 gallons a week (3*52)/12 averages to 13 gallons a month.

20 + 13 = 33 + 3028 = 3061

I have a 30 gallon tank, and live rock displaces about 10 gallons' worth.

Each week, I top up with about a gallon or two of distilled water. I change with 5 gallons of water. So, let's say, 7 gallons of water a week. 28 gallons of water a month.

3561+28=3589 gallons.
