How to Connect Reefmat hose to Bulkhead

I can't seem to figure out how to connect my new Reefmat hose to the bulkhead in my sump that receives the main drain. Please link any pictures, videos or threads that shows this. I have a Synergy sump with a bulkhead where my main drain enters the sump. I know I need to connect the Reefmat hose to the underside of the bulkhead but I am having trouble figuring out the best way to do so.
