I've always mixed powder into solutions, then dosed. I would think dosing powders directly into a tank would be risky do to the time it takes for them to dissolve. Could damage corals and fish. Jmtcw.

+1 on this. Definitely mix in advance and store.

This isn't really possible and I would like to automate the process of dosing. Screw dosers seem to be interesting, but I am not sure what would work best. I was just wondering if anyone had had experience with this.
