Okay so this is a newbie question, but I haven’t been able to find ANY info about it online.

How do you enrich your rotifers? I will be using Selcon. This question is specifically relating to feeding clownfish fry; the goal is to increase HUFAs in live food to (hopefully) better survival rates.

They have a certain diet, not of variety which is micro algae often consumed by a wide variety of fish, shellfish, corals, and other organisms.

I apologize, I don’t understand you. Can you explain in simpler terms? Thank you! :)
They feed on macro algaes and in many csases occupants in tank may compete for it as a meal leaving little for rotifiers to feed on

Oh, thank you for the clarification! My rotifers will be in a culture all to themselves with very few or no other organisms present. In this case, will dripping selcon into the food source enrich the rotifers?

Various strains of phytoplankton is how you enrich the. Make sure you use multiple strains with different DHA and EPA levels
