I've had a golden dwarf moray living in a critter-keeper in a QT tank for a while, and it is ready for the 220g DT. What I am wondering is: how do I get the eel to favor the spot I've chosen for it, rather than have it decide to live, say, in the back of the tank where I will never see it?
I did not plan ahead for the eel, so I don't have pvc pipes laying in wait. I've had enough experience with other sand/cave dwellers to know that where they live is up to them, but they can also be influenced by feeding, scaping, etc.
What are the tricks I can play for an eel to get it to be happy where I want it?
