I have this exact same problem right now. I’ve used aiptasia x in the past with no luck and I actually think it made the aiptasia spread. Going to try a peppermint shrimp next I think

I know this is an old thread hoping to revive it! I have the same problem! I have aptasia growing in the center of some large polyp frags and they are now starting to die off! High end zoas too! I am going to get nudis because I am starting to see them pop up all around and I know nudi work but takes a while and I don't want to loose any more expensive polyps!

Wondring what has worked for anyone in this situation! I do have some franks I can try. I tried super glue and they manage to still find an area and poped back out! That was when it was on a rock though and just now realizing why my zoas are dying!
