How to Magnetic wave maker?

I want to make a wave maker by taking mp40 as an example. I want to make a nice tool with arduino with a 3d printer using neodymium magnets...

Totally possible to do. The basic design is motor turns a plate with fixed magnets in it. On the other side of the glass you have a plate as well, to the impeller assembly. The actual Vortech wet sides use marine brass bearings, which I would suggest (plastic on plastic would wear very quickly at the speeds of the pump).
