I am wondering how to make potassium nitrate from potassium chloride with calcium nitrate? I know how to make it but I just need the porportions of the ingredients and I am too lazy to figure it out myself. If anyone could help me, it would be really appreciated. Thank you!

It sounds like a terribly complicated process of zero benefit to a reefer.

So let’s back up, what do you want potassium nitrate for?

Sodium nitrate is cheap and easily purchased in high purity, and is better in nearly any reefing application than potassium nitrate.

Ammonium bicarbonate is likely even better if the goal is to provide adequate N to a reef tank.

If he has calcium nitrate, he can also directly use that to increase nitrate, right?

If you had silver nitrate, then you’d be in business.
