I think there is a fine line with peroxide on clove polyps. I dipped them one time and were completely fine and another time where they completely melted them. I can only suspect a certain strength or time in it kills then I can only find one mention of this on YouTube where it happened to someone else. Now I only use peroxide on zoas that seem completely unaffected.

The standard 3% hydrogen peroxide will knock it right out. I would just dip the entire frag for 2 minutes and put it back in the tank. 48 hours later that plug will be glowing white. The clove polyps won't skip a beat.
Is this a 2 minute dip in a 3% solution without further watering it down?

Would like to try this for a clove plug that has some cyano on it.
