How to replace BRS Jumbo Air Dryer Filter

Anybody has one of these? I can’t seem to remove the housing to replace the cartridge without killing myself. I’ve tried to knock it with a hammer but it won’t budge. There is a red button on top of the unit for releasing pressure (?) but it didn’t do anything.

Looks like it should twist off just like a standard RO filter housing. Maybe a bigger hammer lol I've used a rubber mallet to hit the wrench before on tough ones.

I didn’t want to risk it - you would think that it should be easy but it’s completely locked up. I will try some more elbow grease tonight.

I wish you luck. Maybe try a strap wrench or an oil filter wrench to hold the top part so all the stress isn't on the mounting holes. I could see them breaking.
