How to Setup Mixed Frag Tank Flow

I am currently cycling a 10g Innovative Marine tank so that I can start picking up frags that I want to grow and add to a future system that I will have when my wife and I move to a more permanent residence. This system will just be the grow-out system for those pieces.

I am interested in an SPS-dominant system eventually, so I know that my two VorTech MP10s will easily handle the flow requirements of SPS in this system. They are both in the tank right now, on the right and left sides, respectively. They each run on Constant at 10% from 9:00pm to 10:00am. In between, they are each on Lagoon, with a maximum of 30%. This creates a nice, randomized flow throughout the smaller display, leaving no bare spots, but also no flesh-ripping currents.

My question is: If I want to have a few soft corals or LPS corals, how can I keep everything happy under the same flow? Would it be better to just house SPS corals in this system so that I can keep the flow high enough and not tick off soft corals and LPS corals?

I'm just afraid to mix corals with different requirements in such a small system.

With such a small tank and the amount of flow for a 100 gallon tank you can find lps that may like the flow as long as you can find an indirect placement for it.

I would chose or the other, to small for a mixed tank. Some lps extend out half the length of your tank anyway.
