How to slow down a Jebao wavemaker?

My ow-40pushing too much flow even in the lowest setting and the sensor only work in certain modes,not all. Im thinking jamming something into the slots but dont know with what. Does anyone have an idea ?

Ok, no, so the OW series changes frequency separate from speed. The LEDs at the top of the controller represent the speed of the propellor. You can just press the green SPEED button to slow it own.


What tank size do you have?

Even with the Speed button pressed its still too strong for my LT plate coral. I have a standard 6ft long 120g. My plate only opened fully when theres a slightest flow.

Is there only one light on along the top row of lights? If one light is on this is as low as it will go.
Are you running only one wave maker? There are several real good clips on You tube clearly explaining the function & differing flow modes .
Also one clip shows Ya how to strip it down for cleaning .

Its on one bar which is the lowest but my plate doesnt like that still. Can i restrict the flow if i jammed something into the slot like an airline tubing sideway? Cant think if anything else right niw.
