So next week I will be done with my mass-QT. I am planning to then use the Hikari PraziPro. I had some questions about it that I wanted to ask before running the PraziPro.

1. I know I need to dose PP twice, 8 days apart, but my confusion is, do I need to perform 100% water change on my current Copper Power 2.4ppm tank water?

2. How many days do I wait after the first dose?

3. When I do the second dose, how much water do I change?

4. How many days do I wait after second dose before adding the fish back into my DT?

5. For fishes listed below, do I need to treat them separately or are they sensitive to PraziPro? Also, how bad can worms in fish get? Is it transmissive? (If this is not transmissive, and not too lethal, then I will skip the prazipro treatment on the sensitive fishes)
Longnose Butterflyfish Copperband Butterfly fish Heniocus B&W Butterfly fish Lattice Butterflyfish Saddleback Butterflyfish
Emperor Angelfish Multibar Angelfish Flame Angelfish
Golden rim TangBlue Hippo Tang Naso TangTomini Tang Sailfin Tang
Midas BlennyStarry Blenny Spotted Dragonette Yellow Watchman Goby
Blue streak Cleaner WrasseSix Line Wrasse
Moorish IdolAptasia Eating FilefishFlame HawkRoyal Gramma
Yellow Tail Blue DamselTernate Damsel Tabolt DamselYellow-Black stipe Damsel

These fishes have been being QT across 3 different tanks depending on their sensitivity to copper/ other requirements. I still have 2 more tanks that I can use to isolate some of them if need be.

Since I have come this far with the Quarantine and the Fallow tank, I just want to do everything right so that I can avoid this situation in all cost in the future.

To be safe , dose at 85% of recommended and apply initial dosage known as an interval for 8 days, do a water change and do one more 8 day dose interval
Use airstone with prazi as it does reduce both oxygen and appetite. If running a skimmer, leave cup off first 24 hrs as skimmer will go nuts from the glycol solution in Prazi

I just posted a short article on dosing praziquantel:

No. you don't have to - but I would perhaps change 50%.
2. How many days do I wait after the first dose?
If you mean how many days do I wait after the first dose - 8 days.
3. When I do the second dose, how much water do I change?
You do not need to change water - except based on ammonia. You can change water - maybe 25% if you want.
4. How many days do I wait after second dose before adding the fish back into my DT?
Another 8 days - minimum - after that - many people do a 2 week observation period
5. For fishes listed below, do I need to treat them separately or are they sensitive to PraziPro? Also, how bad can worms in fish get? Is it transmissive? (If this is not transmissive, and not too lethal, then I will skip the prazipro treatment on the sensitive fishes)

I woiuld not have separated the fish - and I'm not sure the question - do you mean after you've done the copper - you want to put all of them back together in one tank? I would not do that - if they are separate - I would treat them separately. Some fish are more sensitive (wrasse/blennie possibly) - but I have not seen major differences/problems with using the dosing as mentioned by @Jay Hemdal. Prazipro is not given for 'worms' - it's given for flukes mainly - and those are quite contagious. I'm curious - did you buy all of these fish at the same time - and they are all going into a display tank at once? What copper levels did you use for the fish you thought were more sensitive?

That's a good idea. :). Appreciate all of the detail you're giving. I think it's important not to mix the fish together when you do the prazipro - just leave them with the fish they are currently with in the same tank - It will be less stressful. Hope this helps
