Sad news. My hungs took a crap. Assuming a tang ran into it the other week and snapped the top half off. Bottom half died but top half is still hanging in.

Mine is a slow grower. I have it at 300+ par. Going to move it to my 100g halide once the system is stable.
1.5 years growth under photon 50's and or4 uv/v bars.
Colors come and go but not much color compared to the original look.

Not a great photo, but here it was as a decent sized colony. This was after I had cut several large branches out of the middle. I made several frags and shared them but then it started losing color and stalled out. It does not seem like a coral that likes to be fragged.

For me, this was the most stubborn acro I’ve ever tried to keep next to RRC JD. Here was mine probably at its “peak” after 2 years of dormancy and then it got knocked into one of my Gigantea nems shortly after.

We will see what it does under halides once the new system is stable.
I have a few other slow growers that I will test under halides also.
Looking for a homewrecker now as I just located a WD local that just needs to heal before I pick it up.

I'm moving to a new home in the next 3 weeks. i think i'm going to place my 250W Radium Halides and M80 ballast back on, with radion supplements to get the pop also when the Halides turn off.

I thought I would run the Radium but I like the look of the 10K with the edge bars.
My 150 led system is white but its just not the same as the halide.
My old 120 with 2 250 watt 14k's.
This is the look I want to create in the 112.

That colony is killer! I’m hoping to get to a colony in the next decade ;) true colors really pop under a 14k halide.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but what is that reddish frag in the frag rack right above the Hungs?
