Running 2 Hydra64HD’s and an Orphek Blue Plus over my 75 gallon. Wondering what the threshold is for the V/UV channels to avoid the lenses sustaining melt damage? I’ve loosely heard/ been advised it’s around 75% but that was from someone not using those lights. I’m planning on removing the Orphek and adding 2 47” Meso Blues, and will be replacing the lenses on my Hydras when they arrive and I install them, figured I’d adjust the lighting schedule when I do that and hoping to avoid this issue in the future if possible… current schedule attached.

100% on the first 4 channels. Over that I had lens melt. Keep a few on hand at $5 a piece.
AI just sent me 10 on warranty and from the sounds of it will continue to do so if they melt. Have you melted the blue channels or just the V/UV above 100% I’ve had blues cranked and no melting, just the 2 violet channels…
