I feel the pain my Hippo tang steady make frags for me. Unfortunately it’s always the corals I don’t want fragged.
Tank looks amazing. I love all the corals and fish.
Typically a great sign but always has me guessing too. Now that I have added kalkwasser dosing it really has me GUESSING as to what is really happening, When I was only two part, the correlation was tighter. But I won't give up what dosing kalk has brought me in terms of growth. I ignored pH for a decade but no more. If you have space for yet another large reactor, we should talk about it. Your windows are shut more often than mine are for 6-9 months.Massive alkalinity uptake since yesterday, I checked to make sure dosing heads are working. So far 15 additional ml added today and don’t know why. Honestly coral polyp extension looks amazing today.

Hmmm. I should look into an exchanger. Yankee-land context could be different, not sure. My ambient indoor CO2 range is 385ppm to 795ppm and it makes a huge difference in pH if not otherwise managed. Some of that is outdoor quality (I get a prevailing air pattern from NYC and NJ) but also just how closed up the house is.I installed a whole home air heat exchanger. Average Low 8.03, average high 8.38 since installing it. I’m kind of afraid to mess with kalk even though I would love to keep it consistent

But your pH range is way better than mine. Before kalk, I was 7.85 to 8.15 and often worse. Check this out. When the wind changed and I could open the windows, I had to reduce the kalk dosing.

Here mine, I run 2 probes as I had an extra from my calc reactor, PH 1 was just calibrated a couple days ago-

Have to teach me your ways on kalk, now that I'm upgrading to the 300 I would love a cheaper way than triton to maintain parameters
Maybe be a mix of the two

I love your lights, they are so clean, not to mention low profile. Not much longer with this tank….

Got tired of the Stratons not sitting square so I stained a piece of maple mocha to match the stand and mounted the 4 Stratons. Finally all level and the same height-
@Hydrored Where did you get these brackets for the Straton?
