I’m starting to look into hydros and trying to understand it all. I will be doing a basic set up with the launch controller.

The 0-10v port and the drive ports are a little confusing to me.

I’m planning on having the following components in my system…

Hydros launch with pH, temp, ATO sensor, rope leak detector and skimmer level sensor

ATO

Skimmer

2 wave makers. Not sure which ones or if I should try to control them with hydros. Not sure if they need the wave maker controller or I can control them with the launch

2 titanium heaters both plugged into the 110 outlets on the launch

Jebao return pump. I’m thinking I’ll use its own controller and possibly plug it into the launch 110 if I have room.

Dosing pump for Kalkwasser. Not sure how I will do that. Maybe hydros single dosing pump. Can this be connected to the system via WiFi?

For those that understand hydros how would you set this up? What gets plugged to 110 and what goes to the drive ports? Thanks!

0-10V are for controlling things like lights, some pumps, under cabinet led lighting etc..
Drive ports can controll ATO pump, dosers, feeder.
For your heater dont plug them directly into the Launch or XP8. You still need to use a controller like inkbird and use the hydros as a backup.

I use the thermostats in my heaters as the backup. I set them about 3 degrees higher than the Hydros is set for the heaters but you would need heaters with built in thermostats but then my heaters are just 50 watt heaters so they are not large heaters.
