Good morning all and Merry Christmas, happy holidays!

I've had issues with my Hydros X4 and water level sensors for some time. One port read my tank sensor even after I unplugged it completely. I had the triple sensor in my sump and that wouldn't read the first wet sensor, just dry and the wet over-full sensor.

I just replaced that with a float switch with magnetic holder. This one wouldn't read on the first port I connected it to so I tried another. Same on that one so tried a third. When that one wouldn't work I started moving the float by hand and noticed it's actually working backwards. It reads dry when all the way up and as soon as it drops just a little it reads dry. It doesn't have to drop the full travel of the sensor. Just as soon as it comes off the top it reads dry.

This should just be an open or closed switch, correct? So taking apart the connector and swapping pins shouldn't do anything, correct?

TIA for any and all advice.

I've confirmed it's working backwards. I've looked all through the app for a way to change the open/closed assignments. No dice. Looks like you can't reverse the ATO either. That is, add when the sensor reads wet instead of dry.

Flip the float around on the float switch. That is what I did on the ones I use. Some of them needed to be flipped. Mine are not Hydros float switches.
