Hyposalinity

The issue with anthias is that they sometimes arrive with Uronema. Hyposalinity allows Uronema to really thrive, so that can be an issue.
I didn't know this about the relationship between Hyposalinity and uronema, it explains so much.

I love learning new things!

Uronema thrives in hyposalinity and Amyloodinium (velvet) can reproduce down to 4ppt. In fact, I have a list of fish affected by velvet and it includes bluegills (because they can live in 4 ppt).
