I am confused about RODI

Just read the reviews and decide for yourself... The exact one you get isn't as important as making sure you have the correct components. If your water supply uses chloramines, you'll likely need 2 carbons, and most people use 2 DI canisters. But, you can always add canisters later, it will just not be as "neat and clean" looking.

Ya I read the reviews as well… I called my water supplier and there are no chloramines in my water so that is good at least.
 
I live in Portland OR and my god is my water expensive. For 3 months I paid $500 I can confirm the cubic usage

Also look into a booster pump and BRS has a water saver kit that reduces the waste so you can get more output for less
