So like my subject line says. it seems the only thing that I am able to keep in my tanks are Zoas. I have a 13.5 gallon fluval and a C VUe 40 gallon tank. On the fluval I just have stock lighting. On the C VUE I have the AI Prime 16 HD. Below are my parameters on each tank.

13.5
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 20
Nitrite - 0
Temp : 77
Phosphate: 0.25
Calcium : 393ppm
Akalinity : 9.1
Magnesium: 1260
Salinity: 1.027
PH: 8

On this particular tank. I have 2 acans that are doing fine, my zoa are doing great. I have a blasto that is shrinking up. I lost a duncan coral. It was growing fine for a year and even make new heads and then out of the blue just receded and died. I plan to share pictures of my coral for opinions.

40 Gallon Tank
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 20
Nitrite - 0
Temp : 77
Phosphate: 0.31
Calcium : 481ppm
Akalinity : did not test today
Magnesium: did not test today
Salinity: 1.026
PH: 8

This tank I have Zoa growing great, I have a blasto and flower rock anemone doing fine. But just like my other tank my duncan coral has died off as well. I will share picture of two corals I have in this tank that I am not sure what they are because they were freebies but they are struggling as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated or input. Maybe I am just missing something in terms of testing as well. As far as feeding I give reef roids twice a week. Add Zoo Plankton to tank every two days. The fish in my tank get a mix of brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and flakes.

IMO Salinity high on first tank slightly, I keep mine 1.25 maybe climb to 1.26 the odd day. Numbers look mostly in range, but once again I would dial back a bit on the roids maybe once a week, go with live phyto twice weekly, and it should dump your nitrates to more of the 10-15 range. I have many of same species and this is my magic number.
Also have you done a par meter reading? Worth it if you can rent one and get a definitive answer on those numbers throughout the tanks.
Happy reefing.

I have not done a par reading. That was going to be my next step. On my big tank I just changed my light schedule to something different in hopes I get more improvement. Thanks for the input

No problem. Actually just noticed you mentioned zooplankton dosing... you mean Phytoplankton? If so then you should be all good that way as the phyto will feed the Zoos...if dosing zooplankton regularly, I'd question why...there should be enough present already than to have to dose it every two days?
