So I rolled into WWC this morning and I bought my APEX system here are a few pictures of it mounted on my DT does anyone have any tips to make my life easier?

Nice! You‘ll love it. Quick question. Are you going to enclose it in any way? It looks like it’s on the side of the tank stand and you want to make sure it doesn’t get splashed. Maybe I’m not seeing it right but thought I’d ask.

Yes I am going to enclose it I just have to make another trip to Home depot.

Turn on the Heartbeat tomorrow. You can only turned it on after 24hours.
Get a breakout box. You can make it yourself or buy one. I have the one from Avast marine.
Then you can make switches to trigger feed mode,etc

Don't set it up until you are an absolute pro with your tank - learn everything first. Then monitor and alert and/or use it as a timer for lights and other non-important stuff - don't let it control anything. Remember that while it can be handy, if you purchased good equipment, the Apex is likely the weakest link in your system. They can fail if you get too cute with it.
