After doing my research, I did it, I got a snake eel

Hi, I’m happy to say I finally go the eel to take food. Yesterday night I fed him some cut up shrimp and he took it and went back to his burrow so I assume he ate it

Yeah I thought so looks like a barred moray Echidna Polyzona.
Do you know if to will become a problem in the future? From what I’ve seen is they grow to around 2ft and are relitivly fish safe. Will eat invertebrates.

I got the eel to take food with light out.
How would I know if the eel is fully eating or just taking the food and dropping it? I have fed pieces of shrimp that are cut up into roughly a centimeter or 0.4in. The eel takes them off the tweezers and then goes right into it’s burrow
