Hello all. Here is my tank so far! I am currently (impatiently) waiting for my nitrites to come down. Also have my second light ordered.

I can actually reach through the stand. There’s only maybe 2 feet behind there. I’m also planning on putting a screen top on.

Looking nice! And yeah, lots of waiting in this hobby.

How much clearance do you have for your sump? Hard to tell from the pictures.
That’s the only down side. I went with a 29 gallon sump for overflow safety. I have about 8 inches between the rim of the sump and the bottom of the DT.

Everyday I come home from work looking for a diatom bloom, no such luck yet. My wife actually said to me yesterday “most people would be upset seeing algae, you’re actually hoping for it!”

my dad had a 125 and it was awesome! but oddly enough he never wanted coral just fish. which IMO is boring lol. I wish I would have bought but he got out of the hobby years ago and now he wants too get back in it cause I showed him all my coral but he's talking about a 300 gallon

Once my kids are all out of the house we’re planning on moving into a smaller place with no stairs, I figure a house on a concrete slab will hold anything I can talk my wife into letting me have!!

Well things have gone on hold indefinitely. Woke up this morning to find my tank leaking. Lots of money down the drain. Super disappointed.
