So to start off, I got this tank from someone I met at work for about $400 with the stand, which I thought was a great deal, except I wasn't considering the amount of work I had to put into it. I've been looking at this overflow that he created and gave to me and I'm not really sure if it's gonna work to my needs. I'm planning on running Triton method on this tank, so I want as close to that 10x turnover as needed. It's a 120 gallon tank and I'm going to be adding a chiller and a second return line later on so I'm not worried about the returns being 3/4". However, the overflow itself is currently my area of concern, I'm not sure if it's going to be quiet or be able to handle the amount of flow I desire. I'm awful at plumbing and would appreciate some advice on it. Thanks.
