I just witnessed a stomatella snail spawn.

It got up on the hind of its foot and stretched as high as it could from the top of a rock and release a cloud into the water. It did this multiple times. First time witnessing this from a stomatella

Wasn’t quick enough to get my camera out for it to be extended upwards..had a baby in my arms at the time..

It's cool to see. I've only seen it once in one of my tanks before.

I’ve seen by black footed trochus snails do this a few times, but never a stomatella. Even after 7ish years, still seeing cool things for the first time.

To add to it, my captive bred Davinci Clowns are finally getting interested in an anemone after 1.5 years!

Today was a good day lol

That sounds nifty.Congratulations on the little guy.I think I saw this happen once in my tank before. Different type of snail though.

Grats! I haven’t managed to snag any stomatella for my new tank yet. All dry and non mounted coral don’t provide much wiggle room for hitchhikers lol
