One last question, I'm going fishless for 76 days but how long should I keep the cupramine in the qt? 21 days and then observe the restof the time? I'm also gonna treat them with Prazi since I have the time... Thanks

You'll want to treat with Cupramine for 30 days if using just 1 QT.

Did you say you have a hermit crab in there. If so copper will kill it. If you added copper and it has had no ill effect then maybe the rock has adsorbed the copper. There is a theory that raising temp in with saltwater ich is inadvisable as the cysts sense less than optimal conditions so remain dormant for longer so does not speed up the process as it does in freshwater.

Seachem recommends 14 days but normally hobbyists like to push the envelope just for safety reasons and go 1 week longer.
I would suggest 3 weeks then observe over few weeks and treat again if symptoms reappear. Copper is poison to fish so less stress the better.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
