Forgive me for the picture not being very good because he is small and likes to hide.

Without seeing the whole fish a positive id can't be made. Definitely appears to be a blenny, but beyond that can't narrow down without better pics.

Please post a pic of his little face when you can. I'm a sucker for the little guys.

Okay I will try he hides alot so it is hard to get a good picture. Something that may help it that he has litte fins on his underside that he walks around with.

With that description I would guess a Paraclinus species.

Posts like this make me think. What was it marked as when you bought it? How could you possibly bring something home and put it into your tank not knowing, is it reef safe? Will it get along with my other fish? What kind of special needs does it have? I'm sorry for being a butt, but really do people just walk into the pet store and go "gee that's pretty, give me that one". Without asking any questions. Sorry I just couldn't help myself. I'm done now

I caught it when I went to the florida keys I am pretty sure it is reef safe, it is very small so it will not hurt my other fish as they are also small.

Sorry it isn't personal you just kinda caught the brunt of a rant. I've seen requests for identification numerous times. I just sort of went dumb for a bit without knowing all the facts. I humbly apologize to you

It is okay I would feel the same way. I am pretty sure it is a
Paraclinus species looking at photos it looks exactly like it.
