Hey, I have an emergency situation.

This morning I woke up and saw that all the water in my aquarium is cloudy, the snails are going to the very top, and on top of that, one euphyllia has died and the other has partially shed its tissue and left it on the glass

You have not provided enough information to diagnose anything.

I suggest you use activated carbon after a partial water change. Add an air bubbler and test for ammonia.

False Alarm – Trochus Spawning!

Woke up this morning to find my tank water completely cloudy, snails crawling up the glass, and one of my Euphyllias dead while the other was partially shedding tissue. I panicked, thinking it was an ammonia spike or contamination…

Turns out it was just a false alarm – my Trochus snails decided to throw a spawning party! The cloudy water was due to their reproduction activity. Water parameters seem fine, and everything else looks stable.

Still not sure what exactly happened to the Euphyllias, maybe just bad timing or a coincidence. Keeping an eye on the remaining one.

Just wanted to share in case someone else runs into sudden "milk tank panic" – sometimes it’s just snails being snails!

Already found the issue- snails started their reproduction cycle. Idk what happend to euphyllias but its not linked to smoky water

Yeah, it surprised me too - but I'll take it as a weird compliment from the tank's ecosystem.

Curious what your filtration method is and what your parameters are - there are reports of increased ammonia, etc (I know you said they were ok) - but you should be re-checking them. Additionally the dead/dying coral can also release toxins - and be a symptoms of a bigger issue. Sometimes environmental conditions changing cause this as well - I would just carefully make sure everything is working properly in your tank - and I would add activated carbon as already suggested
