Hey guys i am looking to set up a new frag tank here shortly and i was hoping to get some suggestions on some gnarly equipment

I am planning to do largely lps with some sps for kicks.

Currently i am thinking: (I live in a college apartment so i gotta keep it semi small)

30 Breeder
36" ATI Sunpower T5 Fixture (should i go with 4 or 6 bulbs?)
CPR Overflow.
Dual Sump/Refugium w/ 500 gph return (mag 5?)
Octopus X2000 Cone Skimmer

Anddd that's all i have so far. I am absolutely open to bulb combination suggestions and the cost isnt a HUGE issue so please let me know ideas of all shapes and sizes

Thanks a Ton!

Ben

excellent! thats the advice i needed the most! thanks man

Sounds like it will be an amazing frag tank! I'm debating on which trash can to make my frag tank out of :(

Just frag that watermelon and sale a frag or two, then you could afford a nice little frag tank :)

Ben- Have you looked into the SWC skimmer line?
Very affordable and the quality is just..... :D :D :D AWESOME!

Reef Filtration

those SWC look wicked! have you run one yourself? i dont have my heart set on the octopus.

Also, nayrgaijin: That seems like a particularly blue lighting combination, how's your success been with it?
