So I’m trying to set up a frag tank and I have everything done for the most part but I didn’t think that the water would touch the light bracket so now I’m trying to figure out a way so that the bracket isn’t under water.

Eek. Yeah my overflow keeps my water level a bit too high currently. I got the tv mount and hung my light from it. I hope yours has the option to suspend the light to alleviate that issue.

What is the bracket made out of? Is the screw plastic or metal? If it’s all plastic, no worries it will be fine partially submerge.

I don’t know if I wanna mount anything to the all because I just painted the room and covered all the holes I’m trying to think of other ways that aren’t drilling into my wall

How much wait can’t them hold? Cause that wouldnt be a bad idea if I put a few on the wall hold the light. Only worry is it falling in and giving all the stuff a shocking surprise

Dpnt use command strips. They wont hold the weight or torson of leverage. Also they tend to unstick themselves in humid situations. I'd go with a wall mounted or ceiling mounted bracket.

Maybe make a metal bracket from conduit that attaches to the stand?

I can't tell you how many times I've seen the adhesive strip fail in humid environments. They hold up to ~60% RH, but anything higher than that for extended periods of time and they will fail.

How about this... cut a 1x4 or something from home depot. Cut it an inch or two longer than your tank is high, then attach it to the back of your tank with double sided tape...?
