Does anyone know what this coral is called? And where should it be placed?

Looks like a Galaxy coral. Medium light and flow. Give it lots of room as they have long stinging sweepers
Thanks frend [emoji106]

Yes Galaxy coral. Place it in an area where there is moderate flow and light. Potent and long sweeper tentacles will extend out some 4 inches or so so be careful around neighboring corals. I find that if your water flow is too extreme, the likelihood of the Galaxy coral extending its sweeper tentacles is greater.
They are hardy and an easy coral to grow. A couple different species in the marine hobby.

Check out the Sonic the Hedgehog Galaxy coral! Sweet

Thank you very much for the info .. You have to feed this coral? And if so what?

Mine went beyond 4" to sting a 4" christmas favia to death

Agreed hydnophora. Galaxea would have large pointy septal teeth that resemble spikes
