So I have a 5+ year old RKL. Needless to say I've lost a lot of stuff to it over the years. I'm down to the temp probe, 2 power strips, and the head.

I want to upgrade, but can't get too spendy. What I want is something that can monitor temp, ph, salinity, and keep track of it. (The apex graphs are nice but an apex is so expensive!) I have lights, ato, and powerheads that control themselves so on/off switches would be about the only thing I need. Well, temp do trolling heaters, fan, etc. I already have that with the rkl.

I don't have a computer to hook anything up to for programming so wifi would be awesome.

So I was looking at the archon and reading on here that it would be compatible.
To do everything I want, I really just need help making the list. So help! Lol

The archon
New probes for ph, temp, salinity

It will use my very old pc4s right?

Anything I'm missing?

The PC4's are compatible. The temp probe is compatible if it is a iTemp probe. If you get just the head unit it comes with a power pack for the Archon head unit. If you don't have a pH probe you will need one if you want to monitor pH. The Archon already has 2 ports than can be used for pH probes. The Archon also has 4 switch inputs you can use these as backups for you ATO or to turn off the skimmer if the sump is too full or the skimmer is full. There is also 4 0-10v outputs These can control pumps or lighthing. There are also 2 PWM ports as well. You will need a SL2v2 and salinity probe to measure salinity.

Thanks! I don't need anything fancy, really. And I get the feeling my temp probe is garbage from being abused over the years, that's why I'm thinking of getting a new one.
