Hi everyone, after seven yrs being out of the hobby due to divorce, work and life i finally decided to finish my build.i started this project back in 2016 building the stand, sump and drilling the tank. its just your basic 40 Breeder that i put a coast to coast over flow in with a 20g sump.i went with the 40 because of having multiple big tanks through out the yrs i wanted something small and easy to manage."doing 50 gallon water changes can get old quick" .right now i'm just testing the waters to see if i really want to get back in it as i started out in the hobby almost 20yrs ago.theres been times that i've got burnt out on it so we'll see where this go's.hopefully i can get back to enjoying it.on the plus side my girl friend is really liking the tank!anyways,im going to start a build thread and look forward to the commentary! edit:there is still more work to do on the setup but this is just the start..

Welcome to R2R.
I suspect many people with bigger tanks setup a AWC to keep from having to manually do large water changes.

Those lines that you cut in the pipe are incredibly parallel for free handing it, no chance mine would’ve turned out that well.
