That is going to look nice Rev!!

I like how it will display the item rather than having to click the link to open the post! A lot of thought has gone in to this. Kudos Sir!!

Exciting stuff! In Australia we have literally nothing like it. Vast majority of communities are on Facebook and try to sell in hidden ways on marketplace as they don't technically allow it.
Pretty much the same in Canada lol.

QUIT TELLING OUR SECRETS !

(But this is very exciting, and I can't wait to spill all the details soon)

This looks amazing.

Will the general function of the current marketplace be preserved, or will there be any changes to how the marketplace currently works to go with the redesign?

Or, to make the indirect question direct:

Will it still be a place where we hobbyists and small-scale sellers can buy/sell without extra cost or barriers to entry beyond being reasonably active on R2R?

We are still deciding on how to proceed but the future of the market will be the new marketplace. This new market will also function in combination with the forums and threads in ways that you are familiar with. This market is being built and designed for the hobby, a first of it's kind, with a giant community to back it. A place where people can buy or sell in confidence, from 100% verified sellers, knowing that Reef2Reef will be at the center, providing customer service, dispute moderation and more.
