now I posted about this before but with a different coral....

that ended up looking like this

come to find out after I took it out to dip was this guy burrowed in it and I'm guessing the marks on it were from him too

now I thought it was my emerald crab that molted but now I'm not sure...... I also put him back in the tank because this never happened before and I found what I thought was just a shell but I am not sure now

I got a feeling it's not the crab. It doesn't look to be the location a crab would be to cause those kind of marks around the top.

Well I did dip my other leather the lfs guy said he thought maybe Flatworms on the umbrella the crab burrowed in.... funny thing is the crab was on top of the umbrella one morning... maybe just a coincidence and it was the crab burrowing and Flatworms on top that made the marks...... this other leather I didn't see the crab anywhere..... what does the red flashlight do? Should I did the mushroom leather?..... the problem is I think it has attached to this big butt live rock

Some Sea creature don't see well at under red light. So you can snoop around the tank and look for movement and bugs n slugs at night.
