I cleaned it 2 days ago and may have messed up the adjustments. I feel like it’s dialed in though. It might be your skimmer
I let the top off tank dry up on accidentally, been a busy week.Do you know why the tank was low on water?
Everyone is accounted for but may be an invert. I tested and they are in line.Looks like white slime
The last time I had that issue it was caused by a spike in nitrates that was caused by a fish that had died and had been pulled under a rock by a crab.
I've had that happen before. Clean it, adjust it, then crazy overflow for no reason.I cleaned it 2 days ago and may have messed up the adjustments. I feel like it’s dialed in though.
It’s a reefer 350, it was a combo of the skimmer and me letting the top off tank dry up. The only think different is I cleaned out the detritus from the sump and moved the bio from a bag to the front of the sump, in the pic.How big is your tank?
You noticed the tank was low on water, then noticed the skimmer full of water....was that the water that was missing from your tank?
As for skimmer overflow usually something died or you did something different to the tank. What did you do recently that may be different?
What I meant is that your skimmer overflowed the nasty skimmates back into your tank. It was full in your pictures.I cleaned it 2 days ago and may have messed up the adjustments. I feel like it’s dialed in though.
