Hi there! I noticed these 2 white spots on my Marine Betta (Hard to believe right? Lol) and was wondering if it's ich or Lymphocytis.

I grabbed 2 photos the best I can of my shy little fellow. He's about 2-3 weeks in my tank and have only seen it eat off rocks during the day. At night the MB is more active and my ghost shrimp vanish which I believe could be it. Not sure what you think.

Temp: 74
Nitrate: 5
Phosphate: .1
(Salifert Test)

Your pictures, (comment deleted by mods :) )

Feed that fish some live foods, guppies, worms, brine shrimp) or chopped whole clams.

I can't see the spots but a good healthy diet while it gets settled into your tank will "cure" Lympho and help the fish shake off Ich, ime.

I give him live Ghost Shrimp. They disappear so I'm assuming it's eating, but it loves to swim around at night so I can't tell. I can try some other live things perhaps!

looks like lymphocytes. If you could get a clear picture under white light that would help. Additionally - monitor them - if Ich (highly doubt) - they will disappear - and re-appear in a different location.

Otherwise as @KrisReef said - you need excellent water quality and nutrition.

Thank You! I am not sure if the Betta is eating at night. I usually throw 3 Ghost shrimp every other day in the tank and I don't find them. I'm assuming the betta is eating them. It's been a challenge to get it to eat thus far.
