New to the hobby , first reef tank

trying to do as much research as possible but noticed a coating of spots on one of my clowns after my research seems to look like velvet can any experienced people advice me on if they think the same .

Iv attached a video below



60lt 16gal tank

X2 clowns
X2 blue leg hermits
X5 troches snails

Corals
X1 pulsing zenia

O.K., I can view this video (I answered your other post). However, the video is too blue for me to really see much, we need the video taken under white lights.

Clownfish often develop a protozoan disease known as Brooklynella. That creates a white mucus coat on the fish. Marine ich will cause distinct white spots, while velvet causes rapid breathing.

Is the clown still feeding?

Added video in white light now , should be Available when admin approves.

yes fish is still feeding find been watching closely . Not spitting food or anything , seems to be swimming around like normal

I could get part of this video to play. Yes, it does look like Brooklynella. Formalin is the best treatment for this, but that is difficult to source and pretty toxic to use in a home. Your next best option would be Ruby Reef Rally Pro.

Rally Pro can be used in a display tank with invertebrates
