Hey everyone, I received my ICP test and wondering if someone smarter than me can help me interpret it.

Looks like I have a really high Aluminum content, does this have a negative effect?

Any other massive red flags?

I've been struggling with SPS growth and tissue growth and experienced some RTN/STN.

I’m not convinced your aluminum is any concern. My tests show higher levels are needed for soft coral issues, which historically seem to respond first. Do you have any soft corals.

Regardless, I would remove any white media that may contain aluminum. Do you have any such media in use?

I don’t see any other clear issues, though a trace element supplement such as Tropic Marin A and k may be useful.

Lots of softies, LPS, and some SPS. Softies are all colored up and growing really nicely.

LPS super fluffy and growing well.

SPS - only the stylo is growing well. Cyphastrea RTN, Birds nest STN, most acros are gone. Leptos doing okay, one better then the other (mr.freeze), the jack o lantern or whatever the name is (gold with green) seems to not like PAR above 150.

So possibly just all around instability causing issues?

I don’t know what, if anything, is causing slow growth, but the trace elements may help.

Lots of reef tank issues are for non chemical reasons such as light, flow, pathogens, etc.

Sounds good, thanks! I think instability is a big one for me. Starting to get there.
