ID coral disease please!

Hi All,

I was hoping someone could take a look at this new frag I just acclimated and tell me what disease or problem it has. There was a smaller white “dead” spot on the coral when I added it. (Mail order for WWC) and now a day later it looks like this? Should I remove? Should I try and salvage a small piece? Leave it alone and it will heal? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There are several effective products to give the coral a "bath" in. Antibacterial etc... iodine based reef specialty dips.

I use coral Rx, and reef dip by seachem. Follow the directions on the bottle. It may not need it, but it is good reefing practice to dip all coral prior to introduction. (After acclimation)

And if i had to i.d. that coral, i would say Favia.
