ID growing on my sponge

Hello all,

I am attempting to figure out what is growing on my sponges. I recently got my live rock from Gulf Live Rock, and initially the pictured sponges were orange, but now this white film is growing on them. The white film can be brushed off with minimal effort, but I worry that is just spreading whatever it is. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

That's looks like fungus to me. Is it spreading? I would siphon that off carefully.

Yes, it is spreading. So far it only seems to be affecting my orange sponges.

Definitely need to get it siphoned out. :)
