Just noticed this in my tank last week and now has almost doubled in size. Can anyone help identify it? Thanks

I cant really tell but it kind of looks like a mushroom. Does it have a foot? I mean like an anemoney would or it encrusting onto the rock?

It looks like its coming out the rock sideways, sort of like a plate and is very illumines under blue light.

A Discosoma mushroom if it is soft. Maybe a plate coral if it is has a hard skeleton. They usually do not grow that fast tho.

Yeah its probably a mushroom then. Cool looking one though! Havnt seen an orange rim and mouth like that before
