Hello,
I was just curios if anyone might know what this is? It is spreading on one of my rocks, and looks like it is branching at the bottom. (With branching, I thought it might be a coral?)

Not sure but ain't looking like a coral to me.
Few questions..........
How fast is it growing?
Is loos on the rock or attached?

I'm not sure what I'm looking at either. I think that coral might be a Leptoseris, but that small colored stuff that's falling might be an attempt to reproduce. (dripping) That grey stuff beneath & around is probably a sponge.

While it does look quite a bit like Golden Pavona, the holes I can see randomly about it have me more inclined to agree that it is a tunicate colony.

What ever it is, it's very cool.
