I bought a colony rock that has mushrooms, zoas, and a mystery looking coral or at least that is what I thought it was at the time. I thought at first it was some sort of NPS since anytime I had it directly under the light it would close up so I moved it into the shade and it would open up. After a month it loved the light after acclamation. It is maroon in color with white tentacles and loves frozen mysis. Please look at the photos and help me get an ID. I posted photos from when I first received it and up until today.
This is what it looks like when it is angry from being touched haha. I felt a little nub of rock/possible stem but I can't tell. Maybe these pictures will help.
I am leaning towards it being some sort of long tentacle anemone but it sort of looks a little like a fungia too. I know there are more people out there that can chime in???
In the third picture of post number 1, there is the big anemone on the left which looks like it could possibly be a bubble tip. Then right in the middle of that same photo below the zoos there is another small anemone that looks to me like manjano which are pests. They spread rapidly and are a pain to eradicate.
