I got this a while ago. It hasn't done much in the shade in the back of my tank. Up front, in better light it's starting to color up and puff up. It probably came as a mystery lps from a live sale, but couldn't tell you when I got it.

is the flesh tight to a skeleton, or is it a fleshy polyp? looks like some sort of favia to me but could be mistaken.

It's puffier now than historically. I can get a more top down this evening too. My hesitation for saying favia is the lack of much wall structure between the eyes. Probably split the difference in fleshiness between pectinia and plate coral. Almost open brain like.
I'm almost thinking fleshy chalice, not sure how fleshy they get though.
