This came as a hitchhiker with a chalice I bought today, I don't know what it is... Good or bad for the tank, I did not put him in the tank yet.. Help please... Thanks in advance...

Agree….mini brittle stars. Good stuff. I have to pull out a dozen or so from my filter sock every time I change the socks. Keep them.

They get about an inch across....that's it. I really never see them in my tank other than on a rare occasion an arm sticking out from the rock.


Put him back in the tank. Good stuff.

I have a bunch of brittle stars that are 2 1/2 - 3'' across in one tank. And, a million tiny 1" ones in the other tank. They are very good additions.
