Not sure of the name of this coral. It is a branching coral although very compacted. Every once in a while sweepers will come out, most are short but a few are very long (3-5 in). If anybody could give the name to this I would appreciate it.... Thanks. I am calling it a Jewel Coral for know.http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/...ne1_3/Jewel.jpg

That is a galaxia(sp?).....They have strong sweepers and are pretty aggressive. Nice colony too, you have...

I agree completely with Azurel. I've seen nearly 6" sweeper tentacles come out of Galaxias before. Very nice piece. Very full and I like the green.

They have the ICBMs (inter-continental ballistic missile) of sweeper tentacles.....That second pic shows really how nice and big a colony you have Bret....

Thanks for the help, I have had this piece for seversl years and it did not look like my other Galaxea Corals.
