Yup^^^I think that what happened is called "Polyp Bailout" and these are Green Pocillopora babies!
Yup^^^
I was simply agreeing with the fact that it was pocillipora. My post wasn’t meant to disagree with Bronc’s post at all. I just wanted to offer my experience with green pocillopora (pocillopora damicornis). I have followed his threads for years and knowing his talent I would assume that he is capable of pulling off sexual reproduction in his aquariums. My post was meant as a “kudos” for a job well done, not to kick off a petty argument with some random.
Just to back up my thoughts: Sexual reproduction is well documented in the home aquarium, not only by anecdotal references (from myself and the people I know who have observed it happening) but by well known and respected researchers in the aquarium trade; e.g.:

See especially the section on hermaphroditic brooding corals w/r/t pocillopora damicornis:

So again, nice job Bronc! Whatever happened you have successfully reproduced your coral without fragging it. Cheers bud!
